No Adjustment of AHV Pension

The Federal Council has decided to maintain the state pensions in 2017 at the same level. Thus, the limit values remain stable.

Every two years, the federal council will check, if the AHV pensions should be adjusted to take account of prices and wages. The last time the pensions were increased by 1.1.2015, ie an adjustment would be due on 1.1.2017.

Since inflation even is negative and also the wage progression was weak, pensions remain at the current level. This means that all values dependent of the AHV pension remain the same, such as the limits BVG or the charging of costs in the supplementary benefits.
